Universe
The universe is an absolute mystery. We don’t know what’s out there, or whether there’s life anywhere else in space. But every day we’re discovering a new thing, and I think it’s important to share these discoveries with you.
As you can see from the image above, our galaxy is just one of billions of galaxies in the universe. It’s hard to picture just how big this thing is—it’s so big that we can’t even see all of it! there are probably other galaxies like ours out there somewhere, maybe even planets like ours that have life on them.
And then there’s us: humans. We’re here because our planet is special in its own way. It has a lot of things that make us special (like oxygen and water), but it also has some things that make us different from other planets (like plate tectonics). But what if our planet was different? What if we lived in a place where gravity wasn’t always pulling us down toward the center? What would happen then?
Are there any other plannets we could live on?
We don’t know yet! But one day we might find out. We’ll keep learning about our planet and beyond until there’s nothing left to learn. If you’re wondering what life on other planets might be like, don’t worry—you aren’t alone. Scientists are wondering too! We already know that there are billions of planets in our galaxy, and many of them have conditions similar to Earth’s. So far we haven’t found any signs of life on these planets. But someday we might. The thing about science is that it always moves forward, and as we find more answers to our questions. We’ll find out what’s on those other planets and how it got there. And then we’ll keep looking for more planets. Because even if we find life on one world, we want to know if it exists somewhere else too!
